7. Klink Cloud Storage User Guide
On this page
Note: We recommend using a premium/paid cloud storage account — free-tier accounts may have bandwidth limits that affect playback quality.
Overview
Kaiboer Klink is a cloud storage management and playback tool designed exclusively for Hi-Fi audiophiles. Built on the powerful AList backend and deeply customized by the Kaiboer team, Klink integrates various cloud drives (OneDrive, Dropbox, MEGA, WebDAV, etc.) locally and is deeply optimized for Hi-Fi music playback.
Supported Features (Klink 1.3.0 and Later)
- Quark Netdisk: QR-code login.
- Cloud-drive folders: Download folders from supported cloud storage.
- Cloud music: Search supported cloud music.
- External lyrics: Display external
.lrclyrics.
Interface Navigation
The app uses an intuitive landscape split-panel layout:
- Left Navigation Panel:
- K-Link Title: Tap to view software version and notices.
- Status Icon: Shows the local AList service status.
- Storage List: Displays all cloud storages you have added. Tap to switch.
- [Add Storage] Button: Quickly add new cloud storage integration.
- Right Content Area:
- Breadcrumb Bar: Real-time display of the current directory path.
- File List: Displays folders, audio, and video files. Pull down to refresh and sync the latest changes from the cloud.
Adding Cloud Storage
Klink provides tailored authorization solutions for different cloud drives — no complex setup required:
- OneDrive: Uses Microsoft Device Code authorization. The system provides an 8-digit code — enter it in a browser on your phone or computer to complete binding.
- Dropbox: Tap the "Dropbox Login Authorization" button, sign in to your Dropbox account in the browser popup, and the system will automatically create the storage mount.
- MEGA: Enter your email and password to sign in. If two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled on your MEGA account, enter the 6-digit verification code.
- WebDAV / pCloud / Nextcloud / Koofr: Enter the server address, username, and password to connect to self-hosted or third-party storage. pCloud, Nextcloud, and Koofr provide pre-filled provider endpoint templates for one-click setup.
(Google Drive is still under development and not yet available.)
Media Playback Experience
- Deep Playback Integration
Klink achieves low-level data interoperability with the Kaiboer built-in player. When you tap a song, the app automatically syncs all music files in the current directory to the player's playlist, enabling seamless continuous playback.
- Supported Formats
- Audio: .mp3, .flac, .wav, .m4a, .dsf, .dff, .iso, .ape, .alac, etc.
- Video: .mp4, .mkv, .mov, .avi, .wmv, etc.
- Smart Proxy (Web Proxy)
Klink may use a direct link or a local proxy relay depending on storage type and current network conditions. Playback reliability depends on the cloud service, network, file format, and device configuration.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Why does my cloud storage show "Unauthorized" or an error?A: Some cloud storage login sessions have short expiration periods. Please try re-running the authorization flow on the "Add Storage" page.
Q: How do I remove an already-added cloud storage?A: Long-press the storage name in the left navigation panel to delete it.
Q: Why can't I find my high-quality music files?A: Ensure the file extensions are in the supported list (e.g., .dsf, .flac). If you have many files, pull down to "Refresh" and sync the latest storage state.
Detailed login instructions for each cloud storage type are provided below.
OneDrive
OneDrive uses Microsoft's Device Code authorization method — no need to enter account credentials on the DMP device.
- Tap "Add Storage" in the lower-left and select OneDrive
- The system displays an 8-digit verification code. Visit https://microsoft.com/devicelogin on your phone or computer and enter this code
- Sign in to your Microsoft account in the browser and grant authorization. The system will automatically create the OneDrive storage mount
- Once created, you will see the new OneDrive storage in the left storage list
Note: If the device code expires (approximately 15 minutes), cancel and re-add. For international OneDrive accounts, ensure your device network can reach login.live.com.
Dropbox
Dropbox uses standard OAuth 2.0 authorization. Tap the button to be redirected to the official Dropbox login page.
- Tap "Add Storage" in the lower-left and select Dropbox
- Tap the "Dropbox Login Authorization" button. The system will open a browser and redirect to the official Dropbox page
- Enter your Dropbox email and password in the browser and confirm authorization
- After successful authorization, the browser closes automatically and the system immediately creates the storage mount — no manual parameter entry required
Note: Dropbox authorization opens its official sign-in page. Review the permissions shown there before authorizing. Klink does not ask you to enter your Dropbox password on the DMP device.
MEGA
MEGA supports direct email and password login — no QR code scanning or redirect pages required.
- Tap "Add Storage" in the lower-left and select MEGA
- Enter your MEGA registered email and password
- If your MEGA account has two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled, enter the current 6-digit verification code in the "2FA Code" field. Leave it blank if 2FA is not enabled
- Tap Create to complete login and start using
Note: If login fails, verify that your email and password are correct and that the 2FA code is within its validity period. MEGA is an overseas service — the first file list load may take a moment.
WebDAV / pCloud / Nextcloud / Koofr
Klink supports the standard WebDAV protocol and can connect to self-hosted NAS, private servers, and any WebDAV-compatible cloud service. pCloud, Nextcloud, and Koofr include built-in preset templates for one-click setup.
