Kaiboer PureOS V1.5.38 Firmware Update All three upsampling solutions are ready!

Kaiboer Invites 30 Experienced Product Testers to Help Shape Its Hi-Fi Ecosystem

To all dedicated audiophiles, Kaiboer is rolling out the major V1.5.38 firmware for the full PureOS streamer lineup. This update introduces the brand-new High-Res Upsampling Engine with native real-time DSD remodulation, completing our trio of upsampling methods for different listening needs.

✅ Couvora Generative Upsampling: Offline pre-render your music files. Lower playback load and convenient for A/B comparison.

✅ HQPlayer NAA Officially Licensed Upsampling: Offload heavy calculation to your PC, abundant filter choices for hardcore audiophiles.

✅ New Onboard High-Res Upsampling Engine: Real-time audio processing, no computer required.

It supports Bypass mode, PCM high-precision upsampling and real-time DSD remodulation to DSD128. Two built-in filters: Kaiser and Blackman-Nuttall, which reduce digital harshness and deliver warm, analogue-style sound to your beloved music collection.

Every PureOS model comes with an M.2 NVMe SSD slot supporting up to 8TB storage for your CD rips and high-resolution music library. With onboard upsampling, real-time calculation works instantly during playback with no pre-conversion needed.

💡A friendly reminder: Upsampling is algorithmic audio processing. Final sound is affected by your entire HiFi chain. We recommend A/B testing with your favourite reference tracks.

The firmware begins grey rollout today and will be fully available by October 10. Keep exploring new HiFi possibilities with continuous PureOS upgrades.
