DMP-K3 PRO Reports Strong Early Sales and Listener Response

KAIBOER’s DMP-K3 PRO made its official debut on January 15, 2025, followed by availability across sales platforms on January 18. In its February launch follow-up, KAIBOER reported that the compact Hi-Fi player/DAC had attracted a strong response despite the intervening Spring Festival holiday.

The original announcement reported a fourth-place position on a player/DAC sales ranking within fewer than 15 active selling days. It also highlighted favorable comments from listeners about the sound. These figures describe the early launch period reported at that time.

A compact component with a dual-DAC design

The DMP-K3 PRO continues KAIBOER’s focus on combining audio performance with an accessible price. Its decoding section uses two ESS ES9038Q2M chips, supported by a pure-copper toroidal power supply and selected imported audio capacitors.

The source announcement lists PCM support up to 32-bit/768 kHz and native DSD256 decoding. A TI NE5532 operational-amplifier stage forms part of the analog audio design, with tuning aimed at a natural, detailed presentation for extended listening.

Wireless playback and system connections

A Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth 5.1 chip supports playback using codecs including LDAC and aptX. The player also provides RCA and XLR analog outputs, together with optical and coaxial digital outputs, giving listeners several ways to integrate it into a compatible amplifier or active-speaker system.

With playback and decoding in a single chassis, the DMP-K3 PRO offers a compact starting point for a desktop or small-room Hi-Fi setup.

A listening demonstration from the launch

To accompany the original announcement, KAIBOER recorded a listening demonstration using a phone connected through a KAIBOER pure-silver audio cable. The company stated that the recording had no post-production sound adjustment and noted that listening in person would provide a fuller impression of the system.

The demonstration was shared through KAIBOER’s official WeChat article. The launch announcement also directed buyers to its Tmall, JD.com and Pinduoduo flagship stores and described a China-market promotional discount. That promotion belongs to the original 2025 launch campaign and is not a current offer on the English website.
