KAIBOER DMP-K3 PRO Launches on January 15, 2025
KAIBOER announced the official launch of the DMP-K3 PRO integrated Hi-Fi music player and DAC on January 15, 2025.
Dual ESS conversion
The DMP-K3 PRO features two high-performance ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chips. The launch announcement specified PCM up to 32-bit/768 kHz and native DSD256 decoding, a signal-to-noise ratio of 129 dB and THD+N of −120 dB.
Power and wireless audio
A custom copper-wound toroidal power supply is designed for low ripple. The unit also uses imported audio capacitors and Texas Instruments audio operational amplifiers. Bluetooth 5.1 provides compatible wireless playback, including the LDAC and aptX options named in the announcement.
Flexible music sources
Optical and coaxial inputs support the digital audio processing modes highlighted at launch, including Dolby AC3 and DTS-ES. USB drives, external hard drives and SD cards provide local playback of audio ISO, DSD256, DTS, FLAC and other supported files.
Compatible phones, tablets and computers using Apple, Android, HarmonyOS or Windows systems can also connect directly.
Connections for a complete system
RCA and XLR outputs allow the player to connect to compatible amplifiers and active speakers. For DTS or Dolby AC3 5.1 material, users can select decoded analog PCM or digital bitstream output as appropriate for their system. Reproduction of 5.1 surround sound requires compatible downstream multichannel equipment.
Historical Chinese launch offer
The original announcement referred customers to KAIBOER’s official service teams on JD.com, Tmall, Pinduoduo and Douyin for sales pricing. It also advertised a limited silver-plated single-crystal copper decoding cable gift, valued at RMB 200, with qualifying purchases after contacting customer service.
This offer describes the January 2025 Chinese launch campaign. Current availability, prices and promotions depend on the seller and market.
